Here at SATC we believe in bringing you what you want. And our extensive research has shown that you want wine, wine and more wine.

Rather than signing you all up for Alcoholics Anonymous, we have arranged a fantastic evening of wine tasting (and food munching, so don't worry about drinking on an empty stomach!).

This informal, semi-tutored, walk-around tasting is an excellent chance to try wines from the current list of Domaine Direct, a leading specialist importer of fine wines and supplier to Michelin-starred establishments including Le Manoir.

The venue is The Blues Bistro & Bar in Soho. The elegant restaurant features a superb display of artwork - original Picasso plates and Nick Moore's bold artwork adorn the walls - the menus are equally sophisticated and modern and The Blues Bistro buffet is truly more-ish!

Downstairs in the private dining room, we'll be sampling a range of delicious red and white wines specially selected by Domaine Direct for the evening's tasting to compare and contrast regions and grape varieties - two of the most influential factors in shaping the flavour of wine.

Domaine Direct was founded in 1981 to bring Burgundy's best domaine-bottled wines to British buyers. Burgundy is made up from a diverse palette of flavours and styles and Domaine Direct's wine list covers each of the five main growing zones from Chablis and the Auxerrois in the north, through the Côte d'Or and the Chalonnais, down to the Mâconnais and the Beaujolais. Domaine Direct also offers selected wines from outside Burgundy including cult wines from Australia and California.

This is also a marvellous opportunity to become one of Domaine Direct's 'private clients', buying cases directly at wholesale prices by either taking advantage of a special offer on the 11th or placing an order at a future date.
